The Prato-based company buys used clothing (called "original" in industry-specific jargon) exclusively from selected binders in Italy. It manages the withdrawal, taking care of the transport service, commissioned from trusted suppliers.
Once the empty changeover is complete at the collector, the vehicle starts to reach Prato where a team is ready to receive it, unload it and after a careful check, to pack it in big bales (big bags) useful for storage and forwarding back to the foreign countries, otherwise destined for other small local recipients.
MISSION of BZ is the safeguard of the environment by the realization of a waste circular economy model, for this reason it ensures the recovery of the material produced by its own binders, with which it establishes and agrees specific methods and collection plans, in order to allow its recipients to start all those projects of reuse or recovery of the frayed with the creation of new raw material for the automotive or building industry (sound-absorbing or thermal panels). Further recent studies are concentrated on the recovery in the form of energy of those fractions of waste now no longer recoverable otherwise, precisely with the aim of removing ever increasing quantities from landfills.
